The Macquarie matrons are a dynamic group of young woman in central west NSW, Australia raising money for local charities.
The 2013/14 Committee is currently organising details for the 2014 Charity Gala Ball, raising funds for the Macquarie Valley or assist those located in the Macquarie Valley and a locally based charity.
The Macquarie matrons are a dynamic group of young woman raising money for local charities via a Gala Ball and other small fundraising events. Since the inception of the Macquarie Matrons in 1998, the committee has raised in excess of $750,000 to support a wide variety of charities, the local area through the Macquarie Valley Regional Support Fund and in 2011 will launch the Macquarie Matrons CSU, Dubbo Scholarship.
